He ended up not doing to shabby, but was not my #1 pitcher I assumed he was but ended up having a better pitcher that completely eclipsed him.

Good thing my advice was a little late! As I was advocating for you to move him. Glad your pitcher and instincts proved me wrong, as he gave you 2 extremely productive, and outstanding years, as well as a very good final year with your team. Glad he worked out for you. He had a very, very good career.
