Newbie here......but many years experience playing MicroLeague Baseball including via emulator. I just purchased OOTP and spent the weekend familiarizing myself with it.

Question....the way I've been playing MicroLeague is to pick (say) 8 teams and create a (say) 54 game schedule. I play the season manually. The next year, I start a separate league with new teams (usually 8 new teams but perhaps 1 or 2 from the previous season) and I play that season, yada, yada, yada.

If I want to do this with OOTP using updated opening day rosters while compiling team stats (for record book usage), what is the best way to do it? I know how to play 1 season using opening day rosters, but it seems like I have to start a new "game" for my next season thus my historical stats aren't kept in any form of record book. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As another example, I'm playing an 8 team league right now. At season's end, I would like to add new teams and delete old teams while retaining the historical records. At the same time, I want to use opening day rosters for my new teams.
