Hobart
Tasmania has promised a baseball specific stadia as they attempt to be Tasmania's first team in the league. Hobart has been nicknamed the Lions by fans that go to Victorian matches.

Melbourne
Melbourne has been in search of a second team. Recent proposals have included reviving the Reds, the Monarch in locations such as Port Phillip, Waverly, or Clayton.



Australian Amateur Baseball League

Sixth weekend of the AABL went as follows:

MLB New Zealand sweeps New Zealand rival Baseball Auckland. It wasn't pretty. Ever. Jai Wigley and Alan Chen both throw shutouts in the series.

Baseball New South Wales gets revenge sweeping Baseball Tasmania.

Baseball Northern Territory takes two out of three against South Australia. They are trying to climb the standings.

Baseball Victoria wins 2 out of 3 on the road at Baseball Western Australia.

MLB Australia took 2 out of 3 against leaders Baseball Queensland.
