Doc Adkins 1902

Adkins began his major league career with the Boston Americans in 1902 (he pitched in four games and had a record of 1-1), and finished up with the New York Highlanders in 1903 (two games pitched without a win or a loss). His career continued in the minor leagues through 1914. A photo of Bill Pounds in a New York uniform had sometimes been misidentified as Adkins (see the post above); here is how Adkins actually looked as a Highlander:
