Australian Baseball League

Sydney signs OF Gao Kwan, Kwan should slot in to start at CF or RF as the 2029 Claxton Shield runner ups continue to bolster their roster.

The commissioner will begin to meet with current teams about future expansion, schedule lengths. Official bids for the next cycle of expansion, predicted to be 2032 or 2034, can be submitted at any time.



Australian Amateur Baseball League

Opening weekend of the AABL went as follows:

MLB New Zealand beat MLB Australia 2 games to 1.
Baseball New South Wales sweeps Baseball Auckland 3 games to none.
Baseball Queensland defeats Baseball Northern Territory in all 3 games.
Baseball Victoria defeats Baseball South Australia 2 games to 1.
Baseball Western Australia beat Baseball Tasmania in 2 of 3 games.
