It's 2038 in my league. I used a young outfielder in 2037 as my 4th outfielder. He had great potential, but only average current ratings. It was something like:
52/86 Contact
44/87 Power
83/83 eye
Expecting this guy to improve, I didn't re-sign an aging OF who had hit 50HR (he was 38).
The day before the season started the re-scouting took place. This young star, who had hit pretty well off the bench the previous season, and who had started half the season, went down to:
43/55 Contact
36/45 Power
He went from stud to dud.
