I play on a 17" laptop, but I do not think this has anything to do with it (size of my laptop/screen), because ---
when I first purchased and played OOTP17 (about 2 months ago) my game showed the Standings in the upper right hand corner just the same as yours does in your screen shot, but about 2 weeks, the standings just disappeared, not to return. I thought maybe it had to do with an "update/patch" that OOTP pushed thru (I bought the game through Steam). Then I saw your screen shot and had to look at the date you posted it to see if it was current, so as to know if mine disappearing had anything to do with "patches/updates". Which if shows in your game and not in mine, I can kind of rule this possibility out.
So, I do not think I changed anything in the game or in the resolution, but I will check what the current resolution is when I am back in front of my computer
I really like this feature of immediately seeing the standings (and not having to take the extra steps of going to "MLB > Standings", so I hope I can get it back to displaying again
