So what if some players this year are having down seasons? The beauty of OOTP is that you can sim 100 seasons in one day if you'd like. If you want Stanton to hit .242 in your game and not have any type of career, go ahead and edit his ratings yourself, because 99% of the community here doesn't want to see that.

OP is making fun of people who call the game unrealistic when players perform oddly, by giving real life examples of things that nobody would have predicted.
