Well, the guy we're talking about started in 127 out of 129 games he appeared in while hitting .400, so he missed 33/162 games entirely. He appears to top out in the low 140s in starts in the other two seasons in the screenshot, so I'd say it's a problem when you can get those extra 20-30 games out of his bat at 1B or DH.
99 times out of 100, I'd never advocate for moving such a stud down the defensive spectrum like that, but this is the 100th time, particularly as he ages. He also appears to be a middling defensive catcher anyway.
