Game #45: Jays lose a close one in walk-off fashion
Cito might have left Randy St. Claire a bit too long in this one, giving up the game-ending single to Mike Stanley. I guess he didn't want to run Castillo out on back to back nights, especially considering how he blew the finale against Cleveland.

Game #46: Deja Vu? Toronto walked off again
Another blown save by Castillo, his 5th of the year, and a closer look at his advanced stats is troubling. He's issuing almost 8 walks per 9 innings, with a WHIP over 2 and an opponents' OPS of .834. It's an untenable situation; we can't keep running him out there as the closer if he can't close down the games.
WP: Royal Clayton (2-0)
LP: Tony Castillo (0-5)
HR: Joe Carter (10)
