As league commish Joe Allen noted earlier, the Crocs of Miami have had limited postseason success (read nonexistant) against the hated Roadrunners of Ft. Worth. Last season played out eerily similar to the upcoming series, as Miami was the top seed in the Kuffrey League, while Ft. Worth brought a 0.500 team to the table as 'Kuffrey Central Champs'. Ft. Worth walked away with their third consecutive playoff victory over Miami in a cloud of general arrogance.

Worst of the cocky, but not funny, Ft. Worth players is closer Henry 'the Hammer' Smith. Litigation is currently pending between the Miami organization and Smith over the use of his nickname on official ABA merchandise, as the word Hammer, and all variations thereof, have been officially licensed and copyrighted by the Miami owner. The last laugh may be on Ft. Worth, however, as Smith refused all attempts by Ft. Worth to sign a contract extension in this, the final year of his contract.

Rumors run rampant that Miami will make a large push for Smith during the off-season. The word on the street is that Smith may accept a smaller contract offer in exchange for Miami management dropping all copyright infringement charges that are currently pending against him.

It should be a good series, and due to Miami's lack of success against the Runners, please show your support of the Crocs in this thread, or if you just want to root against Ft. Worth and evil RealDoll magnate Scott Fite, let it be known!!! It just may get Miami off the shnide.

The only problem is this series is basically meaningless.
