Season synopsis:
We were dealing with the absolute treat of constant hard hitting injuries having Blandino and Mitchell go down for 3+ months, the rotation is also showing the same levels of inconsistency, I'm trying to fix that but the players won't cooperate. Still we are moving up.

Traded 25 year old LHP Rob Kaminsky (3.5* P) to the St. Louis Cardinals for 20 Year old RHP Rafael Garcia (4* P)

No immediate changes on the big league roster

Reason: With our stockpiling of capable starters have left us with a surplus of pitchers and not enough spots on the staff, Kaminksy was an unfortunate casualty of this thinking having been shipped for potential in Garcia.


Traded 27 Year old RHP Dylan Baker (4* C) and 27 year old SS Trevor Story (3* P) to the Houston Astros for 25 year old SS Alex Bregman (4* C), 25 yr old RHP Derek Velazquez (2.5* P) and 24 year old 1B Juan Fernandez (1.5* P)

Opens up a spot in the rotation for returning Ace Gavin Mitchell, also allows Alejandro Sierra to claim a rotation spot

This gives us a SS and allows Alex Blandino to move to DH, Velazquez gives us MLB ready depth in the minors and if Blandino, or Pedro Alveraz struggle at DH or 1B respectively then there will be no hesitation for Fernandez to make his big league debut.
