A back and forth series all the way, the Braves and Red Sox went to the limit. Game 1 was 3-2 Boston until the bottom of the 9th, where the Braves tied it. But Boston scored 4 in the top of the 10th, topped by a 3-run home run by Dustin Pedroia to seal the win. Boston had another lead (2-0) in Game 3. But the Braves put up 3 in the 6th and 4 in the 7th to take it. Then, in Game 7, Boston led 3-2 and then made it 4-2 in the top of the 8th. But Milwaukee scored 3 in the bottom of the 8th, including a 2-run homer by Hank Aaron. Don McMahon kept the Red Sox scoreless in the 9th for the series win. Hank Aaron was named MVP, despite starting the series 1-for-10.
