BigShot gave me a 1938 Southern Association schedule that I am using... it seems to work fine and has doubleheaders.
I want to replay the league as close to reality as I can get, but I have to accept that I can only come close to recreating it... it will not be perfect.
I'm hoping that the better teams in the league do well... they did in my test leagues... and hoping most of the ballplayers will be in the "ballpark" as far as season stats, knowing full well there will be some aberrations... but I can live with them.
If a 6th, 7th or 8th place team wins the pennant, it will be my fault... I didn't give the players the proper ratings... I think the game will do fine in its replay... it will be as good as my ratings make it.
I'm in my first month of play and it's looking pretty realistic statistically.
I'm very pleased and really enjoying my Southern Association dynasty.
