All of the games of this series were close, but Chicago managed to pull out most of them. Anaheim's one win came in Game 1, when a 9th inning comeback by the White Sox fell short, despite scoring 3 runs. That game also included 3 lead changes by the 3rd inning. All the runs of Game 2 came in the 3rd and 4th innings, Game 3 featured another 3-run late-game comeback (this time by Anaheim in the 8th) which fell short, Game 4 was a pitcher's duel won by Mark Bueherle, and Game 5 started with a 2-0 Angels lead, which was chipped away and eliminated from the 5th-9th innings.
