you'll need to do two things. delete from the event list as well as disable the amatuer draft it in the settings.

should work as long as you haven't started it. if it still shows in the upcoming schedule at the top, click save and it should update. this works with the all-star game (fix schedule + event list - no settings changed).

turn it back on in the offseason, if you want to use it. if the draft pool was created, there may be ramifications. you may end up with all the amatuers being FAs.
