Just an update with my progress with the Padres. Years 6 and 7 have been completed and my club had been eliminated both times in the playoffs. I have (HAD) a great team as it lead in many a category. I have (HAD) a an outstanding personnel field as well. It is the owner I am (WAS) upset with.

I am tired (WAS) of his sissy emails and his stupid goals. First day of the off season....time to pull off some mischief. Fired ALL my staff. Released ALL my 40 man roster AND prospects. Dropped ticket prices to 50 cents. Wrote a nice article about the owner in the 'League Newspaper' and asked him if we were 'even' now and if he wouldn't mind being a positive reference in my upcoming resume while he finds his own homegrown player and resets the budget. My next big move is to quit the team but I still have some odds and ends to do before I hit the 'Finish Today' prompt. Or perhaps I will change my settings to 'can't get fired', or go into Commissioner Mode and relocate to Granville, North Dakota. If the status of the owner is 'worried' now just wait until I'm done with him. So many options available to me, what a great game this is!!
