I just started a fictional deadball era league and when I go to negotiate contracts, I cannot lower the amounts requested as those areas are greyed out. Is there something I missed during setup that would account for this as now I have to meet a player's demands, I can't negotiate at all. I did not check the enable reserve clause box, so could this be the reason?
