some of these "fundme" sites are terrible. i knew someone who was asking for medical bill help even though their insurance covered significantly more than what they were asking for.... no shame (not a comment related to kent, but the sites themselves and that person i know, lol. kent isn't misrepresenting what it's for.). as with most things, a few bad apples ruin the integrity of a potentially great idea (all the fundme, kickstarter stuff related to non-commercial things that help people).
