April 10: 4-0 loss vs Pirates. Gerrit Cole shut down the M's bats, and prized acquisition Stephen Strasburg was knocked out in the fifth thing. After 162 straight wins, the M's were due to lose one.

April 11: 5-0 vs Pirates. Felix gave up five runs in four innings as the M's were shut out again.

April 13: 7-5 vs Athletics. Hisashi Iwakuma was the latest starter to pitch poorly.

April 14: 4-3 vs Athletics. The A's came back from a 3-0 deficit in this one.

April 15: 8-2 vs Athletics. Sonny Gray defeated Strasburg, who fell to 0-2.

April 16: 2-1 vs Athletics. Yoshio Shirai had the best start of the M's season, giving up two runs over six inning, but all Seattle could muster on offense was a Robinson Cano home run.
