Happy Birthday, Dick. Actually, it's a day late for these greetings, as he was born on June 16, 1935, but it's close.
Dick Fitzgerald appeared as a pitcher in the Baltimore Orioles' spring camp in 1956 and 1957 as a non-roster invitee. What's unique about this player is that he has kept hurling in various baseball levels -- both professional and non-professional -- for almost seven decades.
