My point is it's not far fetched for a great pitcher to struggle in high leverage and playoff situations. However, some do and some don't. It's not the games error however.

that's due to a small sample size. it's not far-fetched. it should be expected to happen, even if less probable with a really good pitcher.
we are saying the same things, but unless i am mistaken you think we are saying something different?
he does have to consider age at 35 though. sometimes it can happen in a matter of a couple months with a pitcher (e.g. ace to average or worse etc).
