I suppose in considering this improvement, is now the catcher as a position plays a potentially more important role than other players on the team. I would say that mimics real life, so a team may have to keep a particular catcher to keep part, or all of their pitching staff happy, even if that catcher is hitting .183 and hasn't batted in a run since the Microsoft stock scandal. Definitely should be added though!
