You can click the "assign fictional contracts to personnel, players, and fictional financials to teams" in that order, all finances (including current contracts) will be updated to reflect your changes.

If you assign fictional financials to teams, be sure and check the team financials page after. You may not agree with market sizes, fan interest/loyalty that is assigned by the game. Adjust accordingly.
