According to the
Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball—3rd Edition, Oswego disbanded on May 31st; Scranton then joined the league to take its place, starting with a fresh record. Utica relocated to Wilkes-Barre on July 15th. (In addition, Binghamton folded on Aug. 20th.)
