exactly, he had some sort of negative impact on various ratings when created (as stated by ootp themselves), but it doesn't actually affect them after that. the chance of him losing velocity was the same as others, his aging/development all went through the same calculations as anyone else relative to work ethic and any other relative personal rating, etc etc...

anecdotal evidence is not proof, but between enough of those and the official ootp comment about it, it's obvious enough. i used to worry about pitcher height.... eventually i ignored that due to experience, but the eye-test is far from accurate and precise.
