Awesome that Matt and team were able to fix this weird issue. I'd love to understand technically what happened but it would probably be beyond me.
According to the OP, the only setting changed was the ST roster size after he attempted to advance to the regular season and it wouldn't. He said he changed the size and then it worked. What if it didn't actually advance, though? What if something got munged up and it just continued with the regular season schedule but still in Spring Training mode because of the roster limit?
