I'm playing GM only and my manager keeps putting in pitchers that are below 50 and 60% rested who proceed to blow the game for me, even though I have perfectly capable 100% rested relievers on the bench.

He seems to follow the chart no matter how tired they are, if a guy is listed as 7 or later, he comes in in the 7th even if he is exhausted. My closer is probably going to get injured because he keeps putting him in even though he needs a rest.

Is there a setting I need to tweak to get them to use the secondary relievers and rest these guys? It's getting ridiculous. We're losing too many games because of this.

I'm playing where I control all the transactions but let my manager (sparky anderson) handle lineups and pitching staff, then I watch the games play out while doing other things.

Any advice would be appreciated.
