I have been playing this game since OOTP 5 and for the first time i am seeing an issue that is wanting me to pull my hair out.

When taking over a team, i set all functions to me, with the exception of the minor league and personal stuff. So with these settings i and I alone can only go out and sign free agents, promote and demote from the major league roster. I let the manager set pitching and lineups and so on.

FOr some reason, my team is going after every free agent they can get their hands on, demoting players i want on the major league roster, AND promoting guys i do not want promoted just yet.

Has there been some hidden setting added that i just cant find? This is driving me insane.
