feeder league and creating own schedule

2 more questions, I feel like I should be placing these questions elsewhere. I'm not exactly new to OOTP but I admittedly haven't spent a lot of time with it.

First, I have my HS feeder league set for a 60 game schedule. I noticed this season that the playoffs were still running when my First Year Player Draft for my fictional major league took place. Should I reduce the number of games to maybe 50, so this doesn't happen again? How do you guys run your feeder leagues? How many games?

Second, with my fictional major league, I have it set for a 90 game season. I am starting to realize that with a 90 game season, it is going to be almost impossible for guys to break some milestones, like 300 wins, 3000 hits, stuff like that. I'm thinking about upping the games in my major league to 120, that would help some. But my real problem with the 90 game schedule is the way the games are scheduled. I have it set for 3 game series, and there doesn't seem to be any set days when the series will play. For instance, I have a lot of Saturday, Sunday, Monday series, or Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. I don't necessarily have a problem with it, but what do you guys think about it? If I were to create my own schedule so this doesn't happen, where a series won't start at the end of a week and finish the beginning of the next week, would I have to create a schedule every season? I'm just thinking about options to make my fictional dynasty a little better.

Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
