If I was to start a historical league in 1933, and I was to import players from Lahman or Ankit's database AND readjusted the league totals as they were in that year, does that reward them twice? i.e. pitchers in the deadball era with an avoid runs of 10 will also be helped by the league totals for that era, making them twicde as good?

Thus, to accurately sim in a non-fictional historical league (which all my precious historical ones have been) do I just leave the league totals at 2003 levels? Or do I change it?

i also heard about a database where people's stats were 'normalised' - does this exist, and does it reflect how players would have performed if they all played in the same historical era?
