Well, andrewvk, I'm beginning to believe it is possible, but will take far larger numbers than I'd dreamed. With 1000s, heres the ages of the top 10 in pitching WAR, from best to 10th: 20, 24, 22, 35, 29, 40, 30, 36, 34, 24
On down the line, the distribution looks something like about a third 20-25s, a third 26-32s, and a third 33-40s. The needle is still moving as I go, especially on the devel (less on the aging), but it's moving veerrrrrryyyy slowly.
I'm not at all sure how you could make your team of old farts like that, though. Getting smaller seems more difficult. I can use large umbers, but how many decimals can you use? .00000000000000000000000001?
