I've been inputting players manually. I looked up the Lahman ID database and downloaded a copy of it.

It seems that it will map specific players to their stats, etc. Am I correct?

Can someone elaborate on its use and how it works in game? Does it pull stats, player info, etc.? What exactly does using this do?
