What we need is a hot key for the "Pause Between Plays" check box. As in, you can let the animation happen continuously, then step in when you need to for strategy decisions, or to change a pitcher, etc. It would eliminate the need to constantly have to push the "swing away" or "pitch normally" button.

I'm pretty sure Earl Weaver Baseball came with a pause button between 3D animation plays. Or at least a long enough delay between plays so you could step in and yank the pitcher, hit and run, etc. just like what the OP is suggestion.

Might want to post this in the general forum because I would imagine this could be just a tweak in the code.... I think
