GM Notes:
We came into May strong, winning some games and then wham, anything that could go wrong did. We go handled all over place, pitching was awful, hitting was awful, just a sad week.. another week gone by and we lost 2% more fan interest. Those are good signs for us...

I say everything was bad, but Al Little, Julio Jaramillo and Keith Adams each had solid offensive weeks. I need to see more from them however... Al Little lead off most of the week collected 8 hits and 4 walks, and didn't score a run! Julio Jaramillo had 8 hits, including 2 doubles, but only 2 RBI, and Keith Adams was the week leader with 9 hits, including 3 doubles and a HR... When we get guys on base we have to get them home. I think its time to tinker with the lineup some (again).

I have been in talks with scout Nikolle Kransniqi about taking over this team, but to sign him would be a huge hit to our financials. He has only been a scout for 2 seasons in the DBL in 2013, a first place finish, and 2028, a 2nd place finish... Markey however hasn't shown me he is worth keeping around. I don't even see one bright spot in the minors. I just am not sure I am ready to give my scout $300,000 more... it could be worth it, however...

Two offensive starters are hitting under .200, so their days as starters might be put on hold for a while. Manny Hernandez at .182 has been a huge disappointment after last seasons performance (.298-3-22, 33 steals). Along with Hernandez is James Miller who is hitting .189-3-10. He "should" be better, but he just isn't cutting it... who takes over? I have no clue at this point, however Valle comes back so that might help.

This team needs help, or a shake-up, something. We need one guy who can be a spark and I just don't see anyone capable of that right now. After the past 2 weeks Ihad a good feeling about this club, but after this week, any hopes of a successful season has gone out the window.
