but, this experience is from a new league in ootp17, and it is writing 6gb/season or more to the disk. 800+gb written to disk since starting to play ootp17. i did not use ootp16 on the ssd, so i cannot say if this is more or less writes. all i know is my ssd has written more in the last week than the previous 6+months of use.
i'll try moving the pagefile/temp directories to the mechanical, but i don't think the pagefile is used much when 90% of RAM is available.
i can only go by the specs... it says 72tb life. if i continue to do 1tb a week due to this game, it will die in 1.5years. i'm sure that really means 2-3 years of that type of use, but even so that is ridiculous for a home pc ssd to die that fast. mine is/was a cheap one from july '14.
it may be a moot point if saturday patch makes using the hdd a valid option. i'm one of the few with slower than expected sim times (10min vs 30, ssd v hdd)
