Well it could be argued that the actual result of the games and the wins and losses do not really matter.
Those teams are simply development teams for the major league team.
Of course you want your players to have a competitive mindset and you want your minor league staffs to try and push their players.
But even the most hardcore baseball fans can not rattle off who won the last 10 PCL championships.
In the grand scheme of things, things like unbalanced schedules are not that important when the actual wins and losses are not the ultimate goal.
