I'm playing a 2005 sim and Vladimir Guerrero (clearly a great player, but...) he is a free agent and is demanding a 9 year deal, with a per-year value of around $33 million. This makes me believe that the market values aren't accurately being adjusted to the time period. Vlady never made more than $16 million in a year in his entire career.
