To get some practice with OOTP 17, I created an Historical Game starting in 1946. Looking at the financial settings, I see Reserve Clause Era rules, but also a luxury tax and media contract baselines of $718 (National) and $445 (Local). Sure, television barely existed back then, but I'm sure that radio broadcasts earned clubs more than an average of under ten bucks a game!
