I wonder if that's related to defensive ratings?

Is Mookie highly rated at second? and not so highly rated in RF?

Pedroia's defensive stats for second should be solid enough that they outweight Mookie's but if they don't you could boost them and lower Mookie's so that 2B is no longer an option (and then subsequently raise his RF rating)
