Just tried something I was hoping would work but it did not.

Started a 1973 Historical Season the manually added Two (2) Expansion teams. I took over one of the Expansion teams. After assigning non-affiliated Minor Teams to each Expansion Team. I made several trades and built up the Minor League team during the year. But! When I moved to 1974, all the Minor Leaguers went back to their Historical Minor League Team, I lost the Minor League Team affiliation and all of my Minor League Players.

Lesson Learned - You Cannot Manually Expand your Historical League and expect that you can keep your minor leaguers.

Question - What if you do not expand the league (1961, 1962, 1969, 1977, 1993, 1998) would the Historical Minor League Teams become Non-Affilated or still show their Major League affiliation?
