It wasn't completely off-topic, just figured it'd get more looks in the main forum.
Personally, depending on the players' ratings, I'd figure out which one of them had a better Hits + Walks rating, then bat them first. Hits & Walks mean they'll get on base more.
EDIT: Based on the links to the player pages you posted, I'd definitely go with Jeter in leadoff; he gets on base a lot more.
