Lightbulb The state of today's Gold Master Beta.

Alright guys, the final GM build from yesterday has passed testing and will be released in a few hours. This is the first time ever (I think) that we don't have to fix any glaring bugs that were found the night prior to the public release.

However, there are a few known issues that you may encounter and which we are aware of and will fix over the weekend:
- On Mac OSX sometimes the OpenGL graphics fail and hence FaceGen and the 3D in-game mode stop working. Restarting the game fixes this.
- Real player's FaceGens on Mac do not look quite as good as on the PC, this will be tweaked.
- There is a memory leak somewhere on Windows that may add up when doing long term simulations (50+) with a big leagues (i.e. the MLB quickstart) and cause a crash. So when you want to do long-term sims, keep an eye on the task manager and when OOTP approaches 3.5 GB in RAM usage it may be time to restart the game and continue.
- In the historical database there are a few issues with duplicate historical player IDs being used, the most prominent case is Reggie Jackson. So when you import 1965 with full minors Mr. October will not be part of the 1966 draft pool.
- The interface on the Mac is as fast as OOTP 16, but could be better, we are trying to improve this.
- In 3D in-game mode some plays will look quirky or do not get shown at all (this happens for some error types). These quirks will be fixed over the coming days & weeks.
- Obviously the real 2016 rosters are still a work in progress. Our roster team is working hard over the weekend to get it in the best shape possible for Tuesday

Another thing to note, if you import an OOTP 16 league, the game will not utilize the new text database feature (saves time and HD space and speeds saving up) automatically, it still stores text files like OOTP 16 did. You can enable the new feature by going to Game Menu -> Game Settings -> Database tab. There is a sentence "This saved game uses text files instead of the database engine to save the text data.", click the "Edit" button next to it.

Alright, that's it. I will now create the tech support and the bug report sub forum where you can please post the bugs and issues you find.

Thanks for your help!
Markus
