Teams in the 1980s that should have won more than just One (1) Championship.
St. Louis Cardinals - 1982 (Lost World Series in 1985 & 1987)
Detroit Tigers - 1984 (Lost ALCS 1987)
New York Mets - 1986 (Lost NLCS 1988)
Oakland Athletics - 1989 (Lost World Series 1988 & 1990)
Although I am not a Los Angeles Dodgers fan by any stretch of the imagination, I truly believe that Franchise greatly under performed in the 1980s. Sure the Dodgers won in 1981 & 1988, but see the 1980, 1982, 1983 and 1985 teams. Especially the 1982 team, how do you loose the West to the Atlanta Braves that year??
