The newly founded Fake Baseball league is looking for three owners to step in ASAP in preparation for the league's creation draft.
We're looking to fill openings in Tampa, Milwaukee and Detroit.
Here is the general layout of the league...
...a sim schedule of one game-day per real-day, every day
...current rosters courtesy of the latest GForce Total Minors roster set
...a creation draft with a twist...each team will be allowed to protect 6 players off it's current roster (2 hitters, 2 pitchers, and 2 of either), with the remaining players dropped into a draft pool for the creation draft
...all the usual features we've come to know and love, such as a league message board, Yahoogroups! mailing list, interactive phpNuke website
The three open teams had owners who were unable to submit their 6-player "protection list" by a Wednesday night deadline.
Not to sound elitest, but we've handpicked 20 to 25 rock solid individuals from High Heat and OOTP leagues to take part in Fake Baseball, so we're not looking for someone who thinks it'd be neat-o to protect the 6 suckiest players on his respective team because they happen to be "young", so they can do the "rebuilding" thing...not when you have a creation draft staring you in the face, and you can mold your team however you want...
