Others will be better placed to answer than me, but a quick answer to a couple of them

1) All past years are included as part of the game. You can play from the late 1800's if you wantd. All players are in the game and this year will include around 150,000 players who ever played minor league baseball as well.

4) Every bit as good and that's coming from someone who is a huge football fan and a keen baseball fan.

I'll leave the other two to those who play more historical than I do but just to say the WBC isn't in the game but may well be in the next version and that the rookies will pop up when they should.
