I completely agree with the pending free agent trades. It's a huge part of baseball but I don't see it in the game. I'm assuming the reason is that it must be a coding issue. Related to the trading AI, another aspect is that I receive trade offers asking me trade TWO players for ONE player from another team. I have never received an offer of receiving two (or three) players for one of mine.
Again, the issue is most likely the challenges of coding the AI. I truly understand that. Yet that is one of the few things that shows limitations of any sim. That's why I use Commissioner Mode when it comes to the slight imperfections of the game. That's not a complaint. It's a work around.
