Yep, that's exactly my thought. I'd probably actually take the deal. It's certainly not a bad offer.
HP might want to turn it down, which is his choice of course, but it's pretty difficult to call it an objectively bad deal. His guy is a replacement player. The ai is offering a 2-3 win player (pro-rated).
