Tim, I don't mean to answer your question authoritatively because somebody from OOTPD should do so. I can only tell you that, from my experience, clicking "Got it" on both computers that I use worked and I never saw the message again.

My response, I believe, is stored in the cookies that they are talking about. Hence, if I do not delete those cookie files, then I don't have to worry.

It so happens that I use CCleaner and in that program is an applet that allows you to designate which cookies to keep even when one uses CCleaner to clean stuff out of your computer. OOTPD cookie files are on that list.

All of this leads me to ask whether you have something set, perhaps in your Internet browser program or maybe a program like CCleaner working on schedule, that is deleting your cookies when you close the browser or at a certain scheduled time? That might be the issue and solution.
