We recently grabbed 2 new owners (last season) from the boards here, but both had to leave for various reasons. We started this league about 13-14 years ago (real life) and are still going. About to kick off 2063 FA, we need owners for the Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros, both in the AL West.
The
Astros have made the playoffs the last 2 years and have a great young core. It is not all roses though as the rival Angels have made the WS each of the past 2 seasons, just winning in 2062. If you want to retool, they have several good pieces to deal. If you want to make a run, they are 25M under the cap.
The
Rangers have fallen on tough times. Just one playoff appearance in the last 20 seasons and have lost 90+ for 3 straight seasons. The good news is those picks are coming around with a nice young core of pitching, the #2 overall pick in the draft, and maybe 20M to spend in FA with a protected pick.
We sim 8 days/sim, 3x week (M/W/F) and have a cool hacked site as you can see above. The league uses a 100M salary cap, FA compensation, and is very active. Hit me up here on PM if you are interested.
